Founded in 1994 — Sweet Health Products Company began its active involvement in the sugar substitute table-top sweetener distribution business in June of the same year.
Over the following years, the company has maintained a lean operational functionality while increasing its substantial experience in the consumer food products business.
Headquartered in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Sweet Health Products Company has a proven track record in its ability to provide the trade and consumers with superior quality products, an aggressively competitive pricing posture and an experienced sales and management team.

Enviable Track Record
1) In August 1994, our company launched “Same” brand sweetener to compete in Puerto Rico – a market virtually controlled by “Equal” (over 91% share of market). In under 2 years Same’s market share surpassed Equal, achieving 46.6% s.o.m.
2) August 2004, Sweet Health launched “Zero” brand sweetener. At that time, the market (though virtually controlled by Splenda) had Same and Equal as important players. Within 16 months Zero was outselling Same and Equal, positioning itself as the largest selling Aspartame–based sweetener brand in Puerto Rico.
3) By August 2008 Zero was outselling Same and Equal brands combined, enjoying a very strong position (52% share of market) in the Aspartame-based (blue) sweeteners category in Puerto Rico. Zero is also enjoying considerable sucess in several export markets.
